The Library of Nature is open

Hello, and welcome to The Library of Nature ‘Latest News’ page!

We are so pleased and excited to lauch the project, and open our ‘virtual doors’ to visitors for the first time.

You may be wondering where to begin, so here are a few places to start:

  • If you are visiting with a child, we recommend reading our page About the Library to read a welcome note from our Librarian and to create your own library card.

  • You can then go on learn more on Who is Isobel Reader, where you’ll find a biography and more information on our library founder.

  • Then open our first book ‘Magical Moths and Brilliant Butterflies - Learning About Lepidoptera’! You can find colouring sheets, darwing activities and even make a moth mask.

For grown ups, we suggest you take a look in our footer below where you will find A welcome note just for you which introduces the inspiration and values of the project, and has more information about the opportunities we’ll be offering in the coming months.

And if you’d like to learn more about the people behind The Library Of Nature, take a look at About the authors to read our own biographies.

Thank you so much for reading, and we hope you and your family enjoy our library!
